salzburg university of applied science, website relaunch

there are many different programs of study at the salzburg university of applied science.
therefore the design of the new website has to be toned down and the content of the different departments has to take center stage.
navigation principle to avoid stimulus satiation the layout reduces the amount of information visible at the same time.

secondary navigation elements are only shown after clicking the relevant main menu items. an animation clarifies the relationship between first and secondary navigation.
menue content relationship the layout does not strictly separate content and navigation: links (1) that are directly relevant to the shown content (2) are displayed close-by – links to other topics (3) are shown with more distance.
showing/hiding the intranet area seldom used functions are hidden at the top of the browser window. the relevant drawers are shown after clicking on the appropriate button.
website showing the grid all pages use a common em based grid. it automatically adapts when a visitor changes the font size.
location page using google maps google maps are directly integrated in the location pages.
overview news all news are combined in a clearly arranged mode and can be subscribed to via rss
